Cedric was born and raised bilingual (French & Swiss German) mostly in Basel Switzerland in the same birth place as Roger Federer and other famous soccer players.
In the late 90's Cedric joined the FC Basel Youth soccer program, at the age of 5 years old. He was in the B -selection at first but slowly moved his way up into the A-Teams as he became older.
He has traveled around Europe (France, Germany, Austria, Italy, and more) to compete in European grassroots tournaments.
From age 16 to 18 years old he played in the B-Inter 1 and the A Team playing two professional games (vs. BSC Young Boys and FC Thun) before getting injured. Shortly after he joined the Swiss National Guards for the Swiss, US and Isralien Embassy in Geneva, Switzerland.
During the military and regular work times, cycling was the only sport Cedric was able to pursue and tried to get back to a competitive level.
When he was around 20 - 23 years old he was able to join the Swiss North East Cycling Team RRC Nordwest and compete again on a national level for the U23 in road cycling.
After a crash in a race he resigned on a competitive national level and focused more on his job and endurance running (mountain marathons and other fun sports) In the past few years Cedric ran about 20 marathons (mountain & ultra marathons). He enjoys playing in fun leagues as well.
With all the experience he has, it is now shared with his soccer teams coaching them on what he remembers made him a good and fair player.
"Upon today many years later I remember every good coach and take the good things from him to continue coaching at its best safor our future socer players"
