OUR MISSION
Tidal Wave SC is dedicated to providing an atmosphere conducive to the teaching and learning of proper soccer technique and skill. These elements are the prerequisites for enjoyment and success in the game.  Tidal Wave SC is a nonprofit organization whose mission is the development of the individual soccer player.

Club fees go directly towards players' soccer education.  TWSC plays and practices on the finest soccer fields in the area: Bliss Fields and Moses Brown Fields in Rehoboth.

OUR STAFF
CHRISTINA MACIEL – ACADEMY DIRECTOR
Christina Maciel enters her fourth season as the assistant women's soccer coach at Bryant. In the past three seasons, Maciel has helped transition the Bulldogs from the Division II to the Division I level.

Before returning to her alma mater, Maciel spent two years as the head women's soccer coach at Dean College. Previously the assistant coach, Maciel took over the head position in December of 2004. Under her tutelage, the program saw 12 players receive all-region honors and two players were named Dean College Female Athlete of the Year.

Maciel has established a name for herself in both the club and Olympic Development Programs in Rhode Island. This fall, she will enter her eighth season with the Rhode Island ODP program, where, for the past seven years she has worked with several age groups and trained goalkeepers. Throughout the past 9 years, Maciel has taken an active role in the Rhode Island club soccer scene, holding coaching positions with the Rhode Island Rays and Bayside F.C.

At Bryant, Maciel was the recipient of the Northeast-10 Conference Rookie of the Week and NE-10 Player of the Week awards in her freshman and junior years. In her tenure as a player at Bryant, her team appeared in two conference tournaments and was the first squad in program history to qualify for the NCAA Tournament, accomplished in 2001.
